In writing this book, our aim has been to provide a sound set of laboratory experiments suitable for a basic analytical chemistry course at the university level, The selected expirement, were suitable not only for chemistry students but also for students in other dispilins such as pharmacy, food and feed sciences as well as auxiliary clinincal sciences.Ideally, this course should run concurrently, with the basic analytical chemistry course, The introductory section in each experiment offers adequate background for the self reliant students, however, it is a good practice to start each labotatory period with approximately 30 min of instructions. Each experiment can stand alone, and the sequence can be modified to match the theoretical analytical chemistry course outline. There are sixteen experiments to choose from, this gives the course orginizers some flexibility in designing their availablility of equipment and the students background and needs.
